Starting school is a major milestone for you and your child, and the start of a new phase of life for you both. This up-to-date online information will help make your child's move from kindergarten and other early childhood services to primary school as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Your child’s first years of school will be exciting and engaging and the information can help you and your child make the most of the experience. There are handy hints and tips about your child’s school journey that are based on suggestions from other families who, like you, want the best for their children. Beginning when school goes back in 2012, parents can also subscribe to a free weekly email that provides tips, insights and news specifically for parents with children in Prep. Please note that we will be finishing at 1:30 on Thursday so students will not eat their lunch at school. NO lunch orders on Thursday.  Our end of year assembly will be starting at 12:30 sharp in the quadrangle where our assembly normally takes place. Maybe next year we can have it in our hall!  Students will be dismissed from their rooms so please do not expect to collect your child/children directly from assembly. Today students spent time with the teacher and in the room they will be in for next year.  There has been some movement of teachers and rooms for next year which are set out below. Lastly, on behalf of the staff at Kosciuszko Street Primary School, we wish each and every family a safe, happy and prosperous holiday period.  For those who are leaving Kossie for the last time we wish you all the very best for the future, and for those returning, we will see you all in 2012.
