Term 3 begins Monday 13th July
The reporting to parents process has been completed for the half year with the Mid- Year Reports going home last Tuesday and the Parent Teacher interviews happening yesterday. We are appreciative of the positive feed-back we have received about the process this year. Our Parent-Teacher Interview Day went well yesterday. The conversations that happen with the parents and teachers on such a day are a vital component of the contact between home and school. The things shared during every discussion are beneficial for all. Thank you all for your support. The Prep children presented a fantastic Circus on Wednesday. It was terrific to see so many parents, grandparents and other relatives in the MPR enjoying the performances from the children. Thank you to all family members who worked hard to make costumes and apply make up so the children could have such a wonderful morning. Thank you also to Miss Dal Pozzo and Mrs Quinn, and their team of parent helpers, for the work done with the children at school during the Perceptual Motor Program time to turn them into fabulous circus performers. It was a great highlight of the term for all involved. There will be some short term changes of staff for the beginning of next term. Both Miss Dal Pozzo and Mr Sola will be taking leave for Term Three. Ms Kim Ryan will be working in the Prep for the first eight weeks of term and Mrs Di Bowman will be working in 4/5 S for the first two weeks of term. We wish both Deanne and Lino all the best for their leave and look forward to their return later in the term. We wish every member of our school community a safe and happy two week holiday. Term Three begins on Monday 13th of July. Working Bee There will be a Kossie working bee on Sunday 28th June at 9.00am to 11.00am. The working bee will involve moving the “left over” chip bark from the staff car park to the senior play area prior to the car park being sealed. We will need on the day shovels, wheel barrows and maybe a couple of trailers. CORRECT INFORMATION ON FILE? Do you have a new work phone number? Do you have a new home phone or mobile number? Do you have a new address? Are your emergency contacts current and available if we are unable to contact you? Does your child have any medical conditions that we are not aware of?
